Self-hosted n8n workflow automation
The n8n marketplace template provides a starting point for automating workflows, connecting applications, and using AI nodes. Service creation is currently unavailable in the international sandbox.
n8n template features
The template includes persistent workflow data and a configured public webhook URL. Package limits apply; service creation is currently unavailable in the international sandbox.
n8n workflow automation template
The Deplomo template runs n8n as an application container with persistent workflow data. Service creation is currently unavailable in the international sandbox.
Build AI workflows with n8n
Use n8n AI nodes to connect language models, memory, and tools. Required credentials and provider integrations must be configured separately.
Connect services with n8n nodes
n8n offers integrations for services such as Telegram and Google Sheets. Available nodes and successful connections depend on the n8n version, credentials, network access, and each provider.
Conditional logic and JavaScript
Build workflows with conditions, loops, and custom JavaScript. Execution behavior depends on workflow design and the n8n environment.
Workflow security and public access
Review credential handling, network access, and any public domain or TLS settings required by your deployment. These controls depend on configuration.

n8n guide: automate workflows and connect services
Workflow automation can connect applications and reduce repetitive work. The Deplomo marketplace template runs n8n as a self-hosted application. Review the package limits, credentials, network access, and integrations your workflows require.
What is n8n, and how does it support workflow automation?
n8n is an open-source workflow automation platform. With a self-hosted deployment, you manage the n8n instance and its stored credentials. A workflow may still send data to external services that it connects to, so review each integration and its data handling.
For visual tools focused on building language-model workflows, explore flowise or open webui . For coding-agent tools, see AI coding agents in the Deplomo console.
Manual n8n setup and the marketplace template
A manual n8n setup may involve configuring a container, persistent storage, webhooks, networking, and TLS. Ongoing operation also includes updates, backups, and monitoring.
The Deplomo n8n template runs a single application container with a persistent 5 GB data volume and a generated public webhook URL. Review the selected package and webhook settings. Service creation is currently unavailable in the international sandbox.
Compare n8n deployment options
The table summarizes general differences between a self-hosted n8n template, hosted workflow services, and manual deployment. Features, limits, and costs depend on provider and configuration.
| Feature | n8n template on Deplomo | Manual setup on a VPS | Hosted workflow service, such as Zapier |
|---|---|---|---|
| Deployment and setup | Marketplace template; service creation is currently unavailable in the international sandbox | Requires configuring the application, networking, and public webhooks | Account features and limits depend on the provider and plan |
| Data handling and access controls | You manage the self-hosted instance; controls and data flows depend on configuration | Requires maintaining the server, monitoring, and security updates | Data handling depends on the provider, service configuration, and connected integrations |
| AI workflow capabilities | n8n provides AI workflow nodes. Models, memory, and tools require provider credentials and configuration. | Requires configuring AI nodes, credentials, and related services | Model and provider pricing depends on usage and current terms |
| Custom domains and certificates | SSL issuance and renewal depend on domain configuration and service availability | Custom domains and TLS require server and web-proxy configuration | Domain and TLS options depend on the hosted provider and plan |
| Costs and billing | Fixed monthly EUR package per zone, subject to hard resource limits | Fixed monthly EUR package with resource limits; service creation is currently unavailable in the international sandbox | Server, maintenance, and integration costs vary by provider and workload |
| Integrations and language support | Available integrations depend on n8n nodes, provider APIs, credentials, network access, and each service’s language support | Depends on server encoding, network access, and integration setup | Available integrations depend on the hosted provider, plan, and external services |
The n8n template offers a way to self-host workflow automation. Review package limits, credentials, data flows, external integrations, and operational requirements for your workflows.
Set up n8n on Deplomo
Service creation is currently unavailable in the international sandbox. When it is available, use these general steps:
- Select a database image: Select n8n from the marketplace:
- In the console, choose the n8n marketplace template. Review package resources:
- Select a monthly EUR package that fits your workflow and execution needs within its CPU, memory, and storage limits. Review webhook and domain settings:
- Check the generated public webhook URL and any available domain settings. Custom-domain and TLS behavior depends on platform configuration. Open n8n:
After deployment, use the service address shown in the console to sign in and create a workflow.
Examples of n8n workflow automation and AI use
- AI-assisted customer support: A workflow can route incoming messages to an AI service to draft a response. Configure the external service and review generated content before sending it.
- Publishing content across connected services: A workflow can publish updates to supported services and request AI-generated summaries when a model provider is configured.
- Synchronizing orders: Connect a store to supported invoice or messaging services through their APIs and credentials. Availability and delivery depend on each provider.
- Text and provider compatibility: Check text encoding, API support, and available languages for the nodes and services in your workflow. Do not assume an integration or language is supported without confirming it with the provider.
