### What is n8n, and how does it support workflow automation?

n8n is an open-source workflow automation platform. With a self-hosted deployment, you manage the n8n instance and its stored credentials. A workflow may still send data to external services that it connects to, so review each integration and its data handling.

### Set up n8n on Deplomo

Service creation is currently unavailable in the international sandbox. When it is available, use these general steps:

- **Select a database image:** Select n8n from the marketplace:

- **In the console, choose the n8n marketplace template.** Review package resources:

- **Select a monthly EUR package that fits your workflow and execution needs within its CPU, memory, and storage limits.** Review webhook and domain settings:

- **Check the generated public webhook URL and any available domain settings. Custom-domain and TLS behavior depends on platform configuration.** Open n8n:

### After deployment, use the service address shown in the console to sign in and create a workflow.

Examples of n8n workflow automation and AI use

- **AI-assisted customer support:** A workflow can route incoming messages to an AI service to draft a response. Configure the external service and review generated content before sending it.

- **Publishing content across connected services:** A workflow can publish updates to supported services and request AI-generated summaries when a model provider is configured.
