[All supported agents](/agents) Command-line agent # Connect pi coding agent to Deplomo with MCP Provides a local connection for working with Deplomo resources from within a command line workflow. MCP retrieves current service information from Deplomo, so the agent can respond based on the actual state of your service. [Connection Pi](#setup)[Read the MCP guide](/support/docs/cli/agents) terminal: pi $ deplomo setup agent --agent pi → MCP configured in .pi/mcp.json → Deplomo usage guide installed ✓ Ready to inspect existing services ## Connect in three commands Install the Deplomo CLI and sign in first. The third command adds the MCP configuration and Deplomo usage guide to your project. ### Install the Deplomo CLI `curl -fsSL https://get.deplomo.com/install.sh | sh` Windows (PowerShell): `irm https://get.deplomo.com/install.ps1 | iex` ### Sign in to your Deplomo account `deplomo login` ### Connect Pi `deplomo setup agent --agent pi` The third command saves the Deplomo connection in `.pi/mcp.json` . If Pi is open, restart it after setup. ## Example prompts for an agent These example requests illustrate how an agent can inspect available information about an existing service. Service creation and deployment are currently paused; access depends on your client, account, and permissions. «Deploy the current folder to Deplomo with a suitable name and give me the service URL.» «Read the last five minutes of logs and report only errors or signs of service degradation.» ## Configure pi coding agent to use the Deplomo MCP server pi coding agent is a coding assistant designed for command-line workflows. Its MCP capabilities depend on the installed client and configuration. The Deplomo MCP server can expose supported project and service tools to an MCP-capable client. ### Use MCP to connect a coding agent to cloud services The Deplomo MCP server exposes supported tools to an MCP-capable client. Available operations depend on client settings, permissions, and the international environment; service creation and deployment are currently unavailable in the international sandbox. ### Configure the Pi coding agent for Deplomo MCP Install the Deplomo CLI and run the setup command from your project directory to add the MCP server to Pi: `deplomo setup agent --agent pi` The command creates or updates `.pi/mcp.json` with the Deplomo server configuration and available tools. Service creation and deployment are currently unavailable in the international sandbox. ### Compare Pi with other command-line coding agents Command-line coding agents differ in their supported workflows. Explore [AI coding agents](/agents) for other options. For an agent with a different setup, see [OpenCode](/agents/opencode) and compare their features and configuration requirements. ## Access comes from your Deplomo CLI session Pi No separate token is needed. Secret values are not displayed in tool responses. Check the requested resource and environment, and review the action before running it. [Next guideGrok](/agents/grok)
