[All supported agents](/agents) Software development agent # Connect Devin to Deplomo with MCP Connect Devin to Deplomo MCP tools to inspect available service information and diagnostics. Service creation and deployment are currently paused. MCP retrieves current service information from Deplomo, so the agent can respond based on the actual state of your service. [Connection Devin](#setup)[Read the MCP guide](/support/docs/cli/agents) terminal: dv $ deplomo setup agent --agent devin → MCP configured in .devin/mcp_config.json → Deplomo usage guide installed ✓ Ready to inspect existing services ## Connect in three commands Install the Deplomo CLI and sign in first. The third command adds the MCP configuration and Deplomo usage guide to your project. ### Install the Deplomo CLI `curl -fsSL https://get.deplomo.com/install.sh | sh` Windows (PowerShell): `irm https://get.deplomo.com/install.ps1 | iex` ### Sign in to your Deplomo account `deplomo login` ### Connect Devin `deplomo setup agent --agent devin` The third command saves the Deplomo connection in `.devin/mcp_config.json` . If Devin is open, restart it after setup. ## Example prompts for an agent These example requests illustrate how an agent can inspect available information about an existing service. Service creation and deployment are currently paused; access depends on your client, account, and permissions. «Fix this issue, deploy the updated version to the preview environment and check the result.» «Investigate the failed deployment. Explain the cause first, then change the code or settings only if needed.» ## Configure Devin to use the Deplomo MCP server Devin is an AI software engineering product from Cognition. Its capabilities and supported integrations depend on the Devin client, plan, and configuration. The Deplomo MCP server provides a way to call its supported tools from an MCP-capable client. ### Use MCP tools to work with Deplomo services The Deplomo MCP server exposes tools for supported project and service tasks. What Devin can access depends on the configured tools, account permissions, and international-environment gates. Service creation and deployment are currently unavailable in the international sandbox. ### Configure Devin for Deplomo MCP Install the Deplomo CLI and run the setup command from your project directory to add the Deplomo MCP server to Devin’s configuration: `deplomo setup agent --agent devin` The command creates or updates `.devin/mcp_config.json` and registers the available Deplomo tools. Service creation and deployment are currently unavailable in the international sandbox. ### Compare Devin with other coding-agent integrations Coding-agent tools vary in how they handle software tasks. Compare their supported workflows and setup requirements. For another option, see [AI coding agents](/agents) ; developers who prefer an AI coding assistant can also review [Codex](/agents/codex) and choose a client that fits their work. ## Access comes from your Deplomo CLI session Devin No separate token is needed. Secret values are not displayed in tool responses. Check the requested resource and environment, and review the action before running it. [Next guidePi](/agents/pi)
