[All supported agents](/agents) Agent mode in VS Code # Connect GitHub Copilot to Deplomo with MCP Connects Copilot agent mode to Deplomo through VS Code's MCP configuration file. MCP retrieves current service information from Deplomo, so the agent can respond based on the actual state of your service. [Connection GitHub Copilot](#setup)[Read the MCP guide](/support/docs/cli/agents) terminal: gh $ deplomo setup agent --agent copilot → MCP configured in .vscode/mcp.json → Deplomo usage guide installed ✓ Ready to inspect existing services ## Connect in three commands Install the Deplomo CLI and sign in first. The third command adds the MCP configuration and Deplomo usage guide to your project. ### Install the Deplomo CLI `curl -fsSL https://get.deplomo.com/install.sh | sh` Windows (PowerShell): `irm https://get.deplomo.com/install.ps1 | iex` ### Sign in to your Deplomo account `deplomo login` ### Connect GitHub Copilot `deplomo setup agent --agent copilot` The third command saves the Deplomo connection in `.vscode/mcp.json` . If GitHub Copilot is open, restart it after setup. ## Example prompts for an agent These example requests illustrate how an agent can inspect available information about an existing service. Service creation and deployment are currently paused; access depends on your client, account, and permissions. «Deploy this application to Deplomo and give me its public URL when it's ready.» «Find the required variables in the sample file. Identify secrets and ask my permission before saving them.» ## Configure GitHub Copilot to use the Deplomo MCP server GitHub Copilot is an AI coding assistant in VS Code. When MCP is enabled in the client, it can use tools from a configured MCP server. The tools available depend on the client and its configuration. ### Connect GitHub Copilot to Deplomo with MCP The Deplomo MCP server exposes tools for supported project and service tasks. The available operations depend on the client configuration, permissions, and the international environment; service creation and deployment are currently unavailable in the international sandbox. ### Add the Deplomo MCP server to VS Code Install the Deplomo CLI, then run the setup command from your project directory to configure its MCP server for GitHub Copilot: `deplomo setup agent --agent copilot` The command creates or updates `.vscode/mcp.json` and adds the Deplomo agent skill to VS Code. You can then ask Copilot to use an available tool; service creation and deployment remain unavailable in the international sandbox. ### Compare coding-agent integrations Different coding agents support different MCP workflows. Browse [AI coding agents](/agents) for other options; developers who prefer an AI-focused editor can also see [Cursor](/agents/cursor) and choose the client that fits their workflow. ## Access comes from your Deplomo CLI session GitHub Copilot No separate token is needed. Secret values are not displayed in tool responses. Check the requested resource and environment, and review the action before running it. [Next guideOpenCode](/agents/opencode)
